At GiftLookup.com, we take pride in crafting high-quality natural handmade soaps. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines our procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

2. Returns

2.1 Return Eligibility

You may return most items purchased from GiftLookup.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, subject to the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging
  • The item must not be a personalized or custom-made product
  • The item must not be on sale or purchased as a clearance item
  • You must have proof of purchase (order confirmation email, receipt)

Please Note: Due to the nature of our handmade soap products and for hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened soap products unless they are defective.

2.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable products
  • Opened soap products (for hygiene reasons)
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items marked as "non-returnable" at the time of purchase
  • Items that have been used, altered, or show signs of wear

2.3 Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide your order number, the items you wish to return, and the reason for the return
  3. Our team will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and return instructions
  4. Package the item(s) securely in their original packaging, if possible
  5. Include your RAN and a copy of your receipt or order confirmation
  6. Ship the package to the address provided in the return instructions

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (such as you receiving an incorrect or defective item).

3. Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange an item for a different product, please follow the return process outlined above and place a new order for the desired item.

For exchanges due to defects or errors on our part, please contact our customer service team directly at info@giftlookup.com for assistance.

4. Refunds

4.1 Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you about the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.

Please note that it may take an additional 2-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider's policies.

4.2 Full Refunds

Full refunds will be issued for:

  • Items returned in unused, unopened condition within 30 days
  • Defective items (see section 5 below)
  • Incorrect items shipped to you

4.3 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued at our discretion for:

  • Items returned after 30 days but before 45 days
  • Items with missing parts or accessories
  • Items that show minor signs of use

4.4 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where you received an incorrect or defective item. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error.

5. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us at info@giftlookup.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the defect or damage
  • Photos of the defective or damaged product

We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly, which may include providing a replacement item or issuing a full refund including shipping costs.

For defective items, we may request that you return the item to us for inspection before issuing a refund or replacement.

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund after 10 business days from our confirmation, please check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take some time for the refund to be officially posted.

7. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

8. Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded unless specifically noted otherwise at the time of purchase.

9. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. If your order has already been shipped, you will need to follow our return procedure.

To cancel an order, please contact us immediately at info@giftlookup.com with your order number and a request to cancel.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
